Sweethearts Dinner and Fundraiser is an annual event held in February. The Sweethearts Dinner is also an opportunity to honor a man and a woman that have given of their time, energy and dedication for the betterment of Spring Valley. After the dinner we have a “Silent Auction” of items donated by many generous businesses in Spring Valley, San Diego and throughout California. As Mr. & Mrs. Spring Valley they are our ambassadors and represent us at numerous events. Community service organizations submit nominations for the next years Mr. & Mrs. Spring Valley in November. The nominees must be at least 62 years of age and live in Spring Valley. Past & Current "Mr. & Mrs. Spring Valley" are honorary members of the Chamber of Commerce.
For more information or to submit nominations for "Mr. & Mrs. Spring Valley" Miss Spring Valley and Teen Miss Spring Valley Pageants are held annually in the month of May. The young ladies chosen will represent Spring Valley in the “Fairest of the Fair” pageant in Del Mar and Chamber and community events throughout the year. For the young ladies of Spring Valley this is a great opportunity to gain new skills, meet new friends and to develop confidence and poise. Past & Current "Miss Spring Valley" are honorary members of the Chamber of Commerce.

ELECTION & INSTALLATION OF CHAMBER BOARD OF DIRECTORS & OFFICERS Election of Board of Directors new officers is held in May. To honor past officers, welcome and swear in the new officers an installation dinner is held in June. Special honors are given to “Individual of the Year”, “Business of the Year” and “President’s Award for Volunteerism”.
