HIGHWAY 94 TREE DEDICATION  Tuesday September 30, 2008 was the Highway 94 "Official Tree Dedication" Ceremony. Supervisor Dianne Jacob and Cal Trans District Director Pedro Orso Delgado officiated. The Highway 94 Beautification Committee are to be applauded for all their hard work, time and efforts to get this project completed. Many guests were there to give their thanks and support to the committee - Otay Water District, Union Bank, Spring Valley Youth & Family Coalition, Spring Valley Citizens Assn., Casa de Oro Business Assn. and Chamber of Commerce board members.
 How often have you traveled Hwy 94 and wanted something more pleasant to look at? Well, the trees are in and growing. Trees will be replaced as needed. The next phase in the project is ground cover.
